But wait - the original 0.0025% includes smokers. If you’re a non-smoker, the risk is 0.00075%. Triple that, and you’re back to 0.0025%.

Of course, bearing in mind that the same level of alcohol intake can reduce the risk of dying of heart disease by 40%, and the death rates for heart disease are around 25,000/100,000, whatcha gonna doo?

Over 40% of heavy and continuing tobacco smokers will get cancer at some stage. If you stop before you are about 35 or 40 it drops over a decade to about 15% or so.

Mortgage rates.
The overnight cash rate is only between banks and CBs it is not the mortgage rate. Banks borrow globally and that expense also helps determine their mortgage rates. The govt and CB s have no authority over mortgage rates and I dont see mortgage rates going much lower at all.
