Do people take into consideration inflation from back then when comparing historic highs?
I'm fairly certain that even if it was 10 to 15% back in the 2000s, it may not be as high as what it is today based on impact to living standards. I mean, we're borrowing 1m these days whereas the equivalent back then was like 200k.
