I will just throw in my two cents worth.
Consider the risk/reward at current prices with the potential effect the American market can have on ours along with your alternatives.
If the US market is subject to a major correction in the next few weeks which bank stocks would you choose?
Those that are not subject to buy backs may present the best bargains.
On the other hand bankers not being silly fellows may allow their stock prices to fall in line with their peers but those subject to buy backs will make the quickest recovery.
Just a few thoughts no preaching as don’t know the future and there are many scenarios.
