The other (subtle) point of the article is that even an 80% stake in CNP by the banks would effectively guarantee the long-term viability of my investment in CNP (if it is true). Long term it means dividends and long temr it means capital appreciation. In what shape and form remains to be determined.
It also guarantees that the banks are packing their proverbial holes.
As an aside, check the P/E ratios of the four pillars as at today. Astounding.
