It's a rubbish bonus to attract the gullible and willing mortgage slaves.
It's unfortunate that so many Australians are uneducated as to the cycles of property and debt deflation.
The longest property boom in our history has created a generation of loyal cheer squad participants.
I was lucky. When I entered the property market I was aware of the '74 property crash and Great Depression of the 30's.
Look at the graph showing the long term trend in property prices. Now observe the 60%+ decline that is overdue.
Maybe Wayne Swan wants to guarantee your returns. Is that his silence I hear?
