Haven't got the link but yesterday's herald sun ran a piece on banks ramming credit cards down the throats of mortgage holders in the hope they take the bait and roll it back into their home loans at the cheaper rates according to a bank insider.
Also says home buyers with good credit history are being refused loans in outer suburbs of Melbourne such as Pakenham, Cranbourne, Doreen and Tarneit.
There's a pretty good tip from the bank. Stay away from the outer suburbs.
