Ooops! pardon me! I meant Bear Sterns not UBS! I posted while reading the latest reports for both UBS & bear Sterns.
Nevetheless, in your post you implied a link between Bear Sterns and CBA when you refer to the 40%+ drop in bear Sterns on Friday and then talk about $30 for CBA. That's a drop from a peak of around $62-$64.
Some people talk about the billions of losses coped by US banks and then they refer to higher credit costs for Aussie banks as being the same thing. Or, do they mean that higher credit costs will cause problems in the australian housing market similar to those in the US?
In your posts it sounds like you love bashing the banks. Is that how you choose your stocks?
