One thing is the writedowns the bank make provisions for another thing is the fact that they still are in the business of lending money to people.
A few good sales and significant debt reduction will bring down the debt ratio and the banks should be breathing easy again.
I don't think they necessarilly are looking to dump and run from CNP, but the question for CNP remains the cost of finance going forward and management revenue to service same.
