Most of S32's Alumina production is exported to their own smelters around the world. Of the portion that is sold on the open market, it is anyone's guess as to how much of that is purchased by Russian smelters, if any at all. Queensland Alumina Limited (QAL) in Gladstone is part-owned by Rusal (Russia Aluminium) with Rio-Tinto and I'm not sure whether they export any of their Alumina back to Russian smelters. I would hazard a guess and say that any ban is more likely to impact QAL than S32 in any significant way, but I could be wrong!
