Lynas did a share consolidation from 4c to 40c, or something like that. Then went to $10.
Consolidations are usually done by companies that need to raise and are so woeful that raising any decent amount needs billions of shares issued.
BRK is profitable, cash flow positive and of interest to institutions where you don't have to buy and sell at a 20% spread.
