I understand you have never had a good result with consolidation in the past. I honestly have not invested in small companies much in the past. Yes the 100:1 was over the top, I have seen others post a 10:1 so that sounds more reasonable.
So what can be the outcome of a consolidation ?
1/ mc stays the same = no worse off = ok
2/ mc rises = ok (all happy)
3/ mc falls = no one happy but at least we tried
So a 2 in 3 chance of an ok outcome. Good odds.
