The way i see it now is my avg is 2c now if this consolidation goes the way i think it will then the only options left are either sell out now and take the 50% capital loss or start avg down
1 example of what i think might happen is BRV share price was 5c got hit with an 1 for 8 consolidation we traded at or around 40c for a litle while then sank to low 30c area until the takeover which went through at 36c so anyone who didn't lower their avg before the consolidation ended up sitting on a loss
