Sorry I shouldn’t call it a floor price, it’s a price cap. The price cap is $60 a barrel imposed by EU, Australia etc. Russia is happily selling at this price because they desperately need the cash. Russian Ural oil is currently sitting at $53
The world is flooded with cheap oil, it’s why the Iran situation is having next to 0 effect on the price
