it highly doubt it is retail investors buying 1 share or 5 shares of BRK the brokage alone makes it pointless.
big investors/firms have free brokerage usually as a sweetener to there line of credit or marginal lending.
so it might not be Vanguard or Betashares manipulating the market but it is someone with deep pockets.
i know a few people with over 1.5m invested with marginal loans that push out to there ability to invest to over 3m - they do not pay for brokerage. - or say they say
