They recompleted Newberry and Mitchell last year when they bought the rights to themas part of the Orion JV.
Even though these Old wells are in their DSU locations, they are not part of the BRK DSU. Think of a multilayer cake with 10 layers. The SWISH DSU’s give them rights to the oil and gas in 2 layers that can be drained by horizontal wells they drill. The old vertical wells may y have drained/ are draining some Oil and gas from the same zones and some of the other layers, but because BRK don’t own the DSU’s established for the old vertical wells 30+ years ago, they don’t get revenue from those vertical wells unless they buy into the old DSU.
