I just want to share something straight from David

“this is why we didn’t use wireless logging “

As you know, logging-while drilling and wireline logging technology has dramatically improved our industry’s ability to place wells in the reservoir, evaluate adjacent formations, and understand targeted reservoirs and the rocks and fluids that comprise them. This is a critical part of the process if you are undertaking an exploration or appraisal program. In our situation (and consistent with our strategy and business model) we are not undertaking an exploration or appraisal program and in fact the Jewell Well (and the Rangers and Flames wells to follow) are better classified as development wells. We have tried (within the limits of what the ASX will allow) to explain this to our shareholders and investors BUT we do still get some questions, I guess highlighting the fact that we have more work to do on this front. So the key concept here is the availability of data "to place wells in the reservoir, evaluate adjacent formations, and understand targeted reservoirs and the rocks and fluids that comprise them". In the SWISH area we have this data (and large amounts of it) already available. This has come from a variety of sources.1. Many hundreds of old vertical wells drilled and produced in the area, including within the drilling spacing unit (880-acre DSU) that we have drilled the Jewell well in.2. Core samples taken from a well drilled in very close proximity to the Jewell Unit, and3. Data from the 30-odd latest generation horizontal wells that have been drilled around us in the SWISH area. All of this data has enabled our reservoir engineers to firstly calculate (with a high level of confidence) the amount of oil and gas available to be recovered from our acreage (essentially Proved Undeveloped), and secondly to be able to identify the particular bench within the productive formation (in the case of the Jewell Well, the Sycamore formation) for optimal placement of the lateral or horizontal part of the wellbore. So this is why we don't (and don't need to) run logs on these wells. We already have the data.
