exactly, its as if most people forget 9/10 items they own like their phones, iPads, food containers, fridges, washing machines etc use oil in one part or another of the manufacturing process. While oil should be faised out eventually as it is without a doubt an issue in terms of pollution and long term sustainability, green energy just doesn’t have the technical scalability or economies of scale to replace it, yet.

We all recognise oil is shit, however the constant demonising of oil and gas like it can be just turned off overnight and everything will be right in the world again is such an ignorant and naive view perspective - also let’s f* over all those developing economies who simply cannot afford or don’t have the means to run deficits by investing in green energies that might not even produce the required amount of energy until 10-15 years after their inception
