generally yea, however the options available you’ll see here are a tad different. In that they are a fluid relative to sp movement and come with an exercise price. They are usually cheaper than the current sp and an easier way to accumulate large holdings below the market price, that you can eventually re sell on the market as normal shares. The option price correlates with the sp and is usually well below it until the expire date creeps closer, at which point their value will decrease and their cost price will rise closer to the actual sp. If you choose to not excerise options prior to the expiry, they go into the void and that’s that.
