I use SMSF to do my shares - long term and short term. I have this long term investment (6 years so far) in BRK and I've stopped trading shares the past 12 months so I have accumulated lots of cash ready to purchase more shares at this 12 month low. Hence is why I am looking at short term strategy to build my cash position further by selling BRK shares before end of year and keep my original investment for another 2 years. A smart investor would have mix of both long and short term strategies. Definitely not a day trader!
