I'd say they'd be pragmatic. They would have the right to not take up the options, but if the pricing of BRK at exercise date made conversion worthwhile, with a margin of safety, then they would exercise. They'd also look at whats happening to the price of oil, well success etc. Nice position to be in for them really.
