Thanks Dan for your very informative post as always, yes leasing activity continues and is probably overlooked as it is part of BAU.

The BRK/BM team continues to search out, find and secure lease areas, some may have the potential to develop into the next operated DSU well site or no operated working interest of a future potential DSU by another operator. These leases if the quality is as expected can be held by BRK (at a cost to renew prior to any HBP) similarly seen on the current well map provided in each quarterly where BRK partake in operated and non operated positions.

Leasing activity is a trading game in its own right, leases can be used by trading to increase position towards a future DSU or if holding what another company badly wants can be traded or sold in the aim of increasing, solidifying a holding. Acreage leases are also shown on the AOI plan with each operational announcement.

While not all will become future BRK operated wells it is interesting to follow where the interest is, as you say section 19 does peak some interest but should not pin hopes that it will be anything new however for now will watch with interest. I have attached an image of section 19 and pinned the Jewell well location for reference.

For anyone interested in searching a little more for their own benefit here is a free website for searching township and ranges. I recommend bookmarking this link

There is more to building base value than drilling wells and producing, leasing is the horse that pulls the cart. Might be BAU but easily overlooked by those looking at the trees. That said BRK are more than pulling their weight in this arena and there is a number of dedicated watchers keeping a keen eye on the progress from behind the screens.

    Keep well cheers Paul
