ok, thanks. I was thinking that the options were the catalyst that then lead to the greater than expected returns due the activation of producing early at a time of hi poo. It lead to I hope a surplus of funds above what might be required for land purchases and ongoing well activities.
if the thinking is we can get more acerage at a good price that then provides multiples on the money invested then of course no issues - but I reckon its now a very competitive market.
