    They are.. CLR are pretty well acquiring all they can in the SWISH AOI. It takes a lot of effort to identify which acreage is not leased and then offer the individual parties terms( there could be hundreds of lease holders owing a share of 100 acres). Lease are for 3 years so there is a lot of churn…companies have their own preferences for the acreage so there are still opportunities for small , nimble footed players like BRK to get a foothold on small but valuable positions in their sweet spots

    CLR and other majors are heavy lease purchasers through the whole of the Anadarko basin and are after large scale acreage opportunities for primary leasing. Their focus is on that rather than a small 960 acre plot they may not have been aware was even an opportunity.

    But when a small Aussie company with a number of contiguous DSU’s of a few thousand acres HBP acres with very productive well keeps on pinching new leases, the big guys , and not a big guys take notice .
