Imagine you own a kebab shop.
Every day you have hundreds of customers come through the shop and buy kebabs.
Every day one guy comes in and offers you a price to buy the shop.
For a while, the guy is offering you $200,000 to buy the shop. Every day he comes in and says "I'll have a chicken kebab and I'd buy this shop for $200,000".
Then one day, the guy comes in and he's suddenly offering $100,000 to buy the shop. Every day he comes in and he says "I'll have a chicken kebab and I'd buy this shop for $100,000".
Nothing has changed, the same number of customers, the same costs, everything else is the same.
