I had an LC I did to XUI + a bit specs, was the most fun car I have owned.
funny. I had an XB Wagon I spayed a Blue (commodore vacationer mid 80s blue, looks like your one) way back. put some GS stripes and Globe Bathurst mags on it. wasn't bad looker for a Ford :).
well done on the back to orange. shame it wasn't that purple Holden had back then :) or maybe good. :)
