Leaky ship means there a leaks within the company sharing positive (or negative) news. Leaky ship applies both ways when there is unexpected buying or selling!
I think something like BRK has so many triggers that could cause people to gamble and buy up the stock, so leaky ship may not be the case (I dont think it has been in the past)... I am guessing that we have some funds gambling on a good quarterly amongst other good news.
