was just reading an article about a trend of CEOs taking their companies private over being public.
The interest for us would be the part where they quote Harold Hamm and comments he made regarding his decision to take CLR private.
"my preference for exploration and production instead of dividends and buybacks would not be tolerated by public shareholders."
When you think about it, the amount of money that would free up (not having to worry about dividends etc...) would be huge and I can't wait to read CLR's projections and allocations for 2023. That is if they actually do release any now that their private.
