It seems some of us got the thesis right but betted on the wrong horse here. Back in 2021, I was expecting an oil bull run once the global recovery after COVID gained steam. I was divided between bluechip’s like WDS/STO or a small cap like BRK. Went with BRK as I thought small caps with good fundamentals should have much more upside in a commodity bull run. Laughs on me as BRK crash and burned while the bluechips appreciated significantly and are now spitting out dividends and buybacks.
I do know BRK will come good one day and it’s a matter of 'when' not 'if'. Could be a couple of years before the true value of the company is reflected in the share price either via a land sale or substantial cash build from drilling multiple wells.
