Some good points but I fail to see why it's relevant to consider the demands on lithium of women's make up, LOL!
And, I fully believe in rapid take over of EV, but why would you state the savings with such break even time frames, unfortunately it is not possible to save as much as you say, right now!
Were you trying to imply an EV saves enough for us to buy another in just 10 years? With what, fuel savings? Or the extra savings I make paying more for the car.
I cannot wait to get an EV but will stick with Golf GTI for now, we are however, only a few years away from things being much more comparable, and before we know it, I do hope EV will become much cheaper. Let's just not over sell it now, as this reduces EV credibility!
Lithium demand will come from batteries, nothing else is significant.
