Eventually I will switch everything into dividend stocks. I have worked out I need an income of around 300k per year to keep the beautiful one and the tiny ones in the manner to which they have become accustomed - which I currently do by trading, but eventually will do (I hope) by dividends and sipping cocktails by that beach. Assuming I can give up the fun of trading ... which is a nasty addiction, when it works. Not so much when it is a rearguard battle for survival. You're right though, it is a DNA thing... but there are other things I want to do (a long list of software to write for example), and this consumes pretty much all my time that isn't spent on the family. I never seem to stop, and I am not sure that is healthy. No time to think about that yet. LOL
