I have had a practice run of staying away from HC and itactually felt good.
I quickly did a thread catchup today just quickly scrolledover threads and really much of the same with little value on the read.
We have now ended the year with two key bits of informationthat puts to rest the main uncertainties.
The first is the A40 saga. I was very unsure about thisfrom the onset and I changed my mind a few times, but key was that it needed tobe a value proposition. It wasn’t and glad that is done and dusted. This nowleaves management’s full attention to be focussed on SDV. I must say it wasincredible reading some A40 holders posts, head shaking stuff. I hope theyenjoy the spoils! I really feel sorry for the sensible holders that really got caught out in the web of lies by their BOD.
The second is that we have the SDV strategic timelinereleased. Everything is all systems go, the timeline to production has been setand all the rest are simple formalities that will eventuate as required. We nowjust need each milestone to be achieved. This will take a while, but alldistractions are gone. The company has cleared the decks and the path forwardis there for all to see. Therefore, we are at a point of clarity and really they just need to get on and do the job done.
Looking at the market, things still appear to be tough. Most of it is external related but the short term impact will be felt. AsI have posted many times the EV market is not growing as it should and thiswill continue to impact sentiment. 2020 should still be the start of the gamechanger thanks to Europe and thanks to numerous commencements of new modelsthat will gather steam. While sentiment is low the SP will continue to beattacked. It is being attacked because sentiment is currently more importantthan fundamentals. There was some recent hope that maybe fundamentals wouldcome back into play, but what appears is that the shorts and the traders arecontinuing their dance and the longs just continue to watch and accumulatethanks to the price opportunities that are presented.
With the plan set, there is nothing really left now to dothan wait. Wait for SDV to turn into a profitable, high quality heart of thecompany and Mt C to bring in the cash flow. Wait for the government regulationsto kick in, wait for Tesla to ramp up production, wait for VW and Co to ramp upproduction and hopefully wait for a reasonable end to the trade war. The models, storage systems and different forms of transportation are coming. All this downturn is doing is building up a supply deficit in a few years time. That is probably the plan, the way to slow down the disruption. All thiswill lead to great opportunity into the future. Therefore, there is very littleto discuss any more. I think key was the comment made by SH that their customerinventories were starting to look more reasonable. That also gives some 2020hope. Most probably we won't start to see strong momentum until the second half of next year. However, at these prices it is worth the wait.
It took me a while, but 300 posts it is. I will take this milestoneas an opportunity to say good bye for a little while, at the very least untilthe end of the year. If I get used to it maybe even longer than that. Time wasted on HC on discussion that brings about verylittle due to the need to wait (that's what is is all about now), simply takes away valuable time with the familyduring this great time of the year to spend with the family.
I have been accumulating recently at prices that I neverexpected possible. As such my shareholding recently has grown to reach my target holding fairlyrapidly. I can say that my GXY holding is now at a size that I am verycomfortable with as a platform to contribute to my financial future and as suchI move my sentiment to hold, simply because I now have enough. I have to say thanks to the shorts for providingme the opportunities that you have, but just know that I won’t be releasing myaccumulated holdings back to the market for a very long time. It’s now time forme to start accumulating more elsewhere. It’s all about balance across theentire portfolio.
My only advice is non-financial. To those longs out theredon’t be sucked in with all the negative posts. The bears need your oxygen tocreate a bigger fire. Silence and no response can be powerful, it removes thefun with all the taunts. I keep saying it, but the advice continues to beignored.
