    How does 900g of LCE per kWh sound?
    Sounds like about 90kg per 100 kWh to me, and to the rest of the world.
    Sure, the amount of Li metal is about a fifth of this, which is likely relevant to Musk’s point, but it matters none in terms of the forecasts and associated calculations of Li and LCE requirements as the population of EVs grows.

    Sounds like you’re running out of ammo with “arguments” like that, in conjunction with your apparent concern about having to stop for 30mins on a 1000 km trip! We’ve been over the points before about the overall time saving from home charging overnight, as well as the energy cost savings meaning that most are effectively paying themselves hundreds of $$ per hour for the waiting “hassle” on the rare occasion they need to travel large distances and charge on-route.

    I encourage you to talk to some Tesla owners and see if your “concerns” are actual reality or just imagined for them.
    You indeed might want to drive 1000km non-stop, but I guess that 99% of people do not.
    1% can keep their ICE vehicles while the rest of us move into the future
