Hydro,tidal and wind are insignificant contributors to GB's energy needs.GB has made itself hostage to its nuclear plants and reactors.The statistics are readily available.There is a huge problem of waste disposal. GB is now exporting its waste to the US (ostensibly as an anti terrorism protective measure, and that problematic excuse begs other questions ) and other European nations and is struggling to deal with serious questions as to the methodology it has embraced for domestic "disposal" of waste---hence the export of waste more recently embraced.
