I note that solid state lithium batteries are touted to be the next breakthrough, with a lithium metal componet which will add extra range and smaller batteries.
can anyone explain the lithium metal process to me.
For instance is lithium metal mined as spodium concentrate and lithium carbonate and if so what is the process required to turn them onto lithium metal?
