Nobody has a crystal ball. When you invest you're taking a risk. Not everybody has the same aversion to risk, fund managers included. If investing was risk free, the returns wouldn't be much different than Government bonds. A GXY stock at $1.2 is not cheaper than a Rio Tinto at $93 because its SP is smaller but because of potential growth and fundamentals. Discovering 1,000 ounces of gold for a small cap like AJM compared to its assets has much greater effects on SP than on Rio Tinto.
