Hi Celestine8, Agreed! If there are decisions to be made, or actions to be taken, in regard to some of the challenging trading conditions in the Galaxy, then, it is in the best interests of individual retail holders to make the sometimes necessary adjustments to their holdings, that would hopefully, make them feel a little more relaxed about their investments in Galaxy, and allow for a bit more patience, and time in the investment to kick in, and do it’s thing.
I would hope that people are doing their own research, taking personal responsibility for the trading/investing decisions that they make, and can feel at peace, even in the event that they do nothing with their investments at all, except to add to them when the $$$ are right.
I personally prefer to be a bit more proactive in my investments, and not be sweating on the release of company news, or any other micro/macro news events to occur, that would magically make everything all better.
World events and markets can be rather topsy turvy at the best of times, with so much going on, that it can interfere with our psyches a lot, if we let them. This is one of the very reasons why I prefer to switch off a bit, and have a bit of fun in my investments. It can keep the head level, and not lead to poor judgement or decision making.
It takes a bit of time and effort, to get an investment right where you want it to be. When the news does strike, and the shorters can do more of their covering, I don’t reckon we’ll be disappointed.
If people do feel the need to have the occasional moan or whinge, then, it doesn’t bother me if it can help them to get to a better place afterwards. I do agree, however, that reading constant pessimism can be deflating and somewhat draining.
Anyway, so much news to look forward to reading towards year’s end, and into early next year.
I’d be really taken aback, if Wesfarmers has managed to secure a deal of some sort with Galaxy. I wonder if Management have any other surprises in store for us, or, if the news actually confirms a little of what has already been speculated around here for a very long time.
My only hope is that, when the much anticipated news does hit, that we don’t need google translate to decipher or decode it.
