It's a pretty closed market since there isn't one in Europe ATM, and NAL has the only converter in North America. Galaxy wouldn't want to be producing spodumene and have no where to sell it too would they?
I wonder, just say there was 1 converter... How does price negotiation work?
That would need to be done prior to construction would it? Galaxy would be taking on an incredible amount of risk if the link between them and the battery/cathode producer isn't there. What would be to stop that one converter acquiring spodumene elsewhere... I think at least having some kind of ownership in a converter in North America or Europe is a vital to the plan of production from James Bay.
