Sorry. Just saw this. I rarely venture out of the chart threads. Chart thread would have been the best place to post this question. We have a pretty outstanding charting group on GXY so one of the best ways to learn is to watch the thread read the explanations, go back through the old posts - because every now and then we post lessons on topics, and we tend to explain what we are saying, particularly if asked. So ask us questions, but there are already posts that are effectively lessons on topics in that thread. Other than that I'd say to read: https://www.candlesticker.com/ https://www.aussiebulls.com/ (Applies candlesticker analysis by stock) https://www.investopedia.com/ https://www.tradingview.com/ (for charting tools) http://www.elliottwave.net/educational/basictenets.htm (Elliot wave theory) https://excellenceassured.com/trading/trade-chart-patterns https://medium.com/stockswipe-trade-ideas/chart-patterns-f0a7ceb2bcca https://school.stockcharts.com/doku.php?id=chart_analysis:chart_patterns Some are better than others - candlesticker and investopedia both tend to discuss the trading strategy and calculation of pricing targets where appropriate but investopedia is better when you know what you are looking for - so you might learn about a pattern elsewhere and look it up on investopedia where it will discuss the pricing strategy as well as the pattern. Then there are books guppy "Trend Trading" and Reuters "Introduction to Technical Analysis" But seriously, just ask us to explain on the chart thread.

As a long term holder, I would be very happy if one of the below eventuate. 1) A third party emerge to scuttle the marriage between ORE/GXY with better offer for GXY shares in the next few weeks 2) Come August, SP of ORE rises to around $10 per share (GXY will rise in tandem as well) which means around $5.69 per share for GXY share.
