my guess is the prices are finally at a point that they warrant bringing capacity that is in care and maintenance back online.
this supply will come back online in 2022 potentially smoothing out the lithium price increases.
but how much will EVs continue to grow?
if it’s at the current rate, we’ll the additional supply coming online from the likes of Altra(pls) and wongina (min) won’t even touch the sides.
