I will actually be very surprised if there is no take over offer.
The obvious reason being the undervalued assets we own. More importantly, there are 7 parties interested in a partnership at SDV. Its really difficult to see one of these global companies with huge pockets (if not more than 1) missing out on the partnership opportunity and being content with this situation.
The more likely scenario is their board realising that for a measly Au$1.5B - $2B they can have all of GXY assets along with a cool Au$0.5B in cold hard cash. They would be silly not to make an offer IMO.
Will we see a bidding war from parties that miss out on SDV and or JB?
