Recent issues in Chile regarding Albermarle and SQM on production audits, water issues , transfer pricing and the potential avoidance of royalties suggest the expansion in the Atacama (which is central to the oversupply case) will be very challenging. Remember MS have SQM exiting 2019 at a run rate of 120ktpa of LCE vs the 45ktpa they produced in 2018. Most have them at 80-90ktpa at best..At some stage the penny is going to drop and in the meantime it will do the sale process of SDV no end of good given how high quality and advanced it is. Argentina a much friendlier mining jurisdiction..
