Why should they stop at 100kWh?
There is always ongoing improvement and as long as you find people paying for it and it would fit in the given package space I see no reason in not upgrading the battery packs. The first cells in Model S and X were 18650 cells, Model 3 already uses 21-70 cells with +30% more energy (and reduced Cobalt content). Doing a mid-cycle action on "S" and "X" it would perfectly make sense to switch to the new cells also for lower complexity in the battery plant.
