This article is a little misleading. I suggest you look at the accompanying chart and note the huge spike in EV's sales in January the beginning of last year and notice the downward trend for the rest of the year. Also I point out that when I said auto dealers that was intended to include auto makers based on the fact the Tesla is working on selling their cars at their own "dealership". Lastly demand destruction can come from many sources i.e. fully self-driving vehicles and services such as Uber and Lyft. Watch out for what you not see coming.
I'm not saying cars will go the way of dino's... everyone wants toys right? LOL
