The shorts have played a fantastic game now for a whole year. They have done better than any of the most well read posters here... Even the craziest and seemingly delusional sometimes posters have out played the sheet out of the most factual and measured investors (over the last 12 months).
now we are getting to a point where even the most ambitious short sellers acknowledge that ever in their wettest dreams the SP won't get much lower, we have in a sense hit rock bottom, which is in a strange way a relief.
Traders will trade, whatever long termers that are left after the bloodbath are the ones that are here to stay and no major shareholders at all sold out and won't from here either.

The next move will be the smartest short sellers, the ones who acknowledge that there isn't enough meat left on the bone in the risk/benefit analysis who will use their extensive research again and jump ship to ride this wave straight back up again, so don't be too shocked when these trolls that so many of us have hated (and envied) suddenly change their tune.

Unfortunately, no one makes money on the stock market without people losing money on the stock market and shorters have the potential to lose more than any other type of investor.... Simple math will tell you that although it's been party time for a long time, it's getting late and everyone knows the rule of any party is that 'nothing good happens after 2am'. There are always those left up late trying to keep things going, some will stay for sunrise and a few will continue into the next day... But inevitably all they are gaining after that time is a larger hangover and a possibly DUI.
Those catching the Uber home between 1.30 and 2am will still be able to wake up early (with some big fat wallets) and come out for brunch the next day with the longs (who didn't even go to the short sellers party), those are the investors who have done it all and played the perfect game.

i look forward to seeing who changes their tune first
