Shorts have finally had a tough couple weeks 1.92 - 2.30 is a big jump.
i reckon today being flat is a bit like an arm wrestle.. will shorts double down or will they cover!??
Id love to see GXY an announcement now for possible buy backs. A little $20m investment while the SP is still low and the possibility of more rounds of buy backs should send home any shorts who are stupid enough to still be hanging around here when there is $450,000,000 in the bank.
The share price could return to $3+, which would protect us from any possible low ball TO offers and puts us in a stronger negotiating position for SDV..

Hate him or love him and criticise his PR all day long but it's quite obvious that AT is no dummie and if he doesn't do something like this then it's probably because he is concocting something far more brilliant. The guy has a great record of being able to make a deal and that's all that matters right now
