Fully agree, once the MIN/ALB sale goes through, PLS will be the single largest ASX holder of Aus Li Hardrock deposits and this is in one location. GXY on the other hand has a small Aus Hardrock, large Sal and med JB, as a holder of both companies, I hold each for various reasons each has its own risks and opportunities.
GXY as a diversity play and also in the future possibility of quicker Brine to Li production, if the extraction/evaporation time/costs are reduced with new tech then Sal will be a game changer.
POSCO themselves also seem to have this both camps approach with GXY and PLS to cover future options. Some battery tech needs Lithium Carbonate and some prefers Lithium HydroxIde in the future some will move to Lithium Metal itself.
Each has its own growth potential from their current share price.
Besides who wants to miss out on a GXY short squeeze which has an increasing possibility.
The world is going to need all Li that can be made from any method.
All IMO DYOR.
