The highest quality LCE go into tier1.
Panasonic, Samsung, Lg belong to tier1. Koreans and Japanese mainly.
Majority of chinese products go into tier2 and below.

Current batteries have a liquid center. Solid state means there is no electrolyte core. Its the flow of electrons through the core that gives the charge.
Every time the Chinese stick their nose up at the contract price, they will loose a supplier. The korean and Japanese will have it for paying a higher price, for a higher quality product.
Japanese and Korean will be building their cars and batteries for world markets in places like Thailand, where they are currently producing ICEs. Singapore and Indonesia, Europe, north America, India and possibly Australia.
