What you have described is the policy of many managed funds. They will buy then lend their shares out to shorters, knowing that eventually the jprospects of the company will come to pass. In the meantime they buy and sell and lend in order to make money. Their brokers are instructed how to play the game (my opinion) Moms and dads only can dyor and hold until they are proven wrong.(or right)
