The advice you received correlates with what Joe Lowry was saying in his latest podcast where he interviewed lithium analyst Mac Whale. Both Joe and Mac felt the institutional investors are still for the most part tied to the China spot price, which both reaffirmed is irrelevant to battery grade. Both also agreed that the spot price is going to start increasing and should reach an all-time high by Q2 of 2020.
