Corpacci received Galaxy authorities from the Sal de Vida lithium project

Governor Lucía Corpacci received the President of the Board of Directors of Galaxy Resources, Martin Rowley; to the director of the project, Mike Nelson, among other directors. The objective of the meeting was to discuss the progress of the project, world class, Sal de Vida lithium (Antofagasta de la Sierra), which is in the feasibility stage.

As in other opportunities, Corpacci highlighted the demands of Catamarca for its mining projects: labor and purchase of local services and its contribution to the development of the communities, as well as requesting the mining firm specifications for the start-up. On the occasion, she was accompanied by the Secretary of State for Mining, Rodolfo Micone.

New offices

After the meeting held with the provincial president, the businessmen, who came from Canada, London and Kong Kong, inaugurated the new offices of the mining company. The Secretary of Mining participated in this act; the mayor of Antofagasta de la Sierra, Julio Taritolay; businessmen and referents of mining suppliers' chambers of the provincial interior. Micone stressed that the opening of these new offices "represents more work for Catamarqueños, more buy local, community development and investments in the project areas". And he stressed that the local mining policy "is clear in its rules of the game".
